Even Trains Stop for Our BBQ!
After about a year of filling up our weekends with smoked sandwiches, platters and ribs, Happy Jacks got an unusual customer. One day a train engineer stopped his train, jumped down, and walked over to our pick-up to buy some ribs for lunch. The engineer's daughter had brought him some of Happy Jacks ribs the week before, and when the engineer saw who was doing the smoking at the side of the road, he brought the train to a halt. We decided that if our smoked meats were good enough to stop a train, maybe we should open a restaurant!

Stop by "Happy Jack's BBQ" Monday through Thursday from 11am until 8PM, or Friday and Saturday from 11am until 9PM and you'll find a clean family atmosphere with mouth-watering smoked ribs, chicken and pork and a choice of homemade sweet, mild or hot sauce. You'll also find outside tables in case you can't wait to get home before eating this delicious fare. The menu includes rib, chicken, beef brisket and pork dinners and sandwiches. Platters include two sides (choose from baked beans, corn, potato salad or cole slaw). Ribs are sold by the whole or half slab; chickens by the whole or half; and you can even get a whole smoked pork roast. A party platter includes two slabs of smoked ribs, along with two large sides and 6 delicious rolls - enough to feed four hungry people.
